


HIV-STBBIs
Health Promotion
We strive to increase awareness on HIV and other Sexually Transmittable Infections within our target audience with collaboration with our strategic partners, other Prince Albert and Northern Saskatchewan CBO’s .
Our HIV-STBBIs program focuses on following issues:

HIV-STBBIs awareness

Stigma and barrier reduction
-
Capacity building within social services and healthcare providers
Some aspects of our services are:
-Providing HIV testing kits and assisting clients with their continuum of care and medical needs
-Prevention and intervention sessions through educational presentations
-Preparing educational material for social media
-Organizing Capacity Building workshops for partner service providers and organizations
-Offering educational sessions for partner agencies staff and clients
-Collaboration with regional service providers to evaluate, discuss and improve STBBIs indicators
-Working with Indigenous Elders and leaders to incorporate cultural component to health and healing
- Consultation with community leaders and members to ensure that our program responds to unique needs of indigenous people and local community members
Our team consists of Medical and Community Health Expert, Peer Support workers and Service Navigators, Program Facilitators, Evaluator and Program Strategist, and Program Coordinator.
